AIT Foundation is an international non-governmental organization as defined in Article 71 of the United Nations Charter.

Asia-Pacific Interrelations and Trade Foundation is registered as a not for profit foundation in the State of Delaware and is subject to the legal provisions of national and international law as an NGO.

Our independence is guaranteed by a board (elected for 5 years), our senate (elected for 2 years) and our general assembly.

AIT is governed by an independent Senate that includes the foundation president and vice-president.

The Senate is committed to advance the mission and goals set forth by our founding document.
